Linux System Engineer (f/m)

Our client is one of the biggest telecommunication companies in Austria. They are searching for a Linux System Engineer (f/m) in Vienna.


This is what the client offers:

  • Working with agile development methodologies

These will be your tasks:

  • Responsible for the OpenStack environment

  • Providing advanced support for the cloud platfom and backend storage (SDS)

  • Working together with network operations team in terms of SDN

  • Taking care of Linux issues

  • Responsible for the extension of automation and execution of regular emergency patching

  • Communication with cloud tenants

  • Regular on-call duty


This is what you offer:

  • Strong working experience with Linux

  • Openstack experience would be a plus

  • Experience with communications management tools (Ansible or Puppet)

  • Know How in virtualization technologies (KVM, Vmware) and IT Security

  • Fluent English, German is a plus

  • Teamplayer attitude and agile mindset

An annual gross salary starting from € 45.000,- with a view to increase based on the qualification and experience.

Austrian work permit must be available!
